The U8 team continues to impress with two back-to-back wins. In a thrilling victory over Tanjong Pagar AFA, the boys demonstrated excellent teamwork and resilience. They held their nerve in a closely contested match, securing the win with a late goal that sealed the deal.

U8 team shows grit and resilience in SYL over the weekend
Our U8 team displayed great resilience and grit to draw with Flair Academy and lost narrowly to Geylang AFA. The team had gone into the game against Flair full of confidence and went ahead after just one minute. However, they conceded afterwards and did well to salvage a point in the end.
Against defending champions, Geylang AFA, the team found the going tough and were down by a few goals at half-time. However, the coaches rallied the team and they fought back with a courageous display, eventually losing narrowly by a single goal! Well done lads!

U12 team shows grit in the face of tough competition in SYL
In the competitive realm of youth football, where talent meets determination, the U12 team emerges as a beacon of resilience in the midst of challenging adversaries. Their journey at the start of the SYL (Singapore Youth League) has been nothing short of a testament to their unwavering spirit and commitment to the sport.

Tasked with navigating a difficult group, characterized by formidable opponents, this young squad has showcased not only their skills on the field but also their tenacity in overcoming obstacles. From the first whistle to the final moments of each match, they've fought tooth and nail, refusing to succumb to the pressures of their circumstances.

Coach Halis has played a pivotal role in shaping the team's mindset, instilling in them the values of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Through his guidance, the players have learned to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, viewing each match as a chance to test their mettle and improve as athletes.

Coach Halis shared: "The performance throughout the first round have generally improve due to the effort of all parties involved. The planning done by coaches to tackle the weaknesses, the players individually putting in their best effort in training, as well as the parents' constant support, encouragement and belief in the team, have greatly contributed to the team’s progress. The aim for Round 2 is to continue performing to the best of our abilities, and to put up a stronger fight against our opponents to achieve the top spots in the division. "

U8 team unbeaten in SYL classification round
In the heart of youth soccer, where dreams take shape on the grassy fields and young talents ignite the passion for the beautiful game, a remarkable story unfolds. The U8 team has etched their names in the annals of sporting glory by achieving the unthinkable - an unbeaten streak in the classification round of the SYL (Singapore Youth League).

Amidst the cheers of proud parents and the infectious enthusiasm of budding soccer stars, this team has captured hearts and minds with their remarkable journey. What started as a mere collection of young talents has metamorphosed into a force to be reckoned with in the realm of youth soccer.

The SYL, known for nurturing talent and providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills, witnessed an extraordinary display of resilience and determination from the U8 squad. Week after week, they took to the field with a hunger for victory and a spirit that knew no bounds.

Coach Ken said: In round two, I hope that my players continue to train and play as hard or harder than in round one and maintain high morale so that they can perform well. I also advise my players to be prepared to play very hard in the next round as all matches are going to be tough, but at the same time be confident and work closely with one another as a team."
U10 results in round one an accurate reflection
In the realm of youth sports, success is often measured not just by the scoreboard, but by the dedication, hard work, and improvement of the players. This rings especially true for the U10 team, whose recent string of results is a testament to their unwavering commitment and the effectiveness of their training regimen.

Led by Coach Adam, this spirited group of young athletes has been turning heads with their impressive performances on the field. However, what sets them apart is not just their wins, but the manner in which they achieve them – through relentless training and a genuine passion for the game.

Coach Adam shared: "My players were able to experience and witness where their level is at, both personally and collectively as a team, in comparison to other teams. This positively reinforces the need to improve in training, and also knowing our strengths and weaknesses."

He added: "In Round two, I expect my team to be mentally prepared for the challenges to come. I hope the team will continue to give their best effort regardless of the score, as we tend to be easily affected by the results. My advice to the players will be to continue training hard for yourself and the team. Have a strong attitude to improve and positively influence your teammates around you."

Our U8 Rodrygo players showed great resilience and mental strength as they took on Turf City with a player down, as many team mates were out of action due to sickness and other factors. They played their hearts out but it was too big a gap to fill as they went down fighting.

The team did a good job though, with Lucas, Nishiro and Danish, all getting on the scoresheet. Let's train hard for the next game!

U6 BELLINGHAM CLINCHES 1ST VICTORY OF NEW SEASON

Elsewhere, our U8 Vinicius team also won convincingly against Island City. Ian Choo also scored a hat trick in this match to be awarded Player of the Match.

U11 LOSES IN NARROW DEFEAT
The U9 team lost to Jepun Hitam narrowly in a tight game where it was end to end stuff in the first half, which ended 2-1 in our favour. We continued to pile on the pressure in the second half to try to close off the game but individual errors led to the loss.

Meanwhile, the U13 team gave their best as a team but failed to stop Liverpool Football Club from getting all three points.

U9A LEARNS VALUABLE LESSON
Our players from U9A received a timely reminder that football is a team game and not about individuality. After going down a goal against Flair Football Academy, they got their act together in the second half. Their hard work finally paid off in the 38th minute, when Aidan weaved through 2 players and scored the equaliser!

Meanwhile, the U7 team's unbeaten streak finally came to an end as they were held by SMSA and lost a tight game to ESPZEN.

U13 BOYS SHOW FIGHT AND SPIRIT IN DEFEAT TO LEAGUE LEADERS
Our team took on league leaders Etoile FC Academy in a tough game where our boys tried their utmost best to get a result.
Jacob Wan was extremely impressive in goal and made numerous saves to keep us in the game. It was not sufficient though as we eventually conceded too many goals to be able to get anything out of the game.

The boys though showed good spirits and fight to keep going despite the scoreline, giving their all till the final whistle.

The U9B team was also involved in a tough game against IFS Blue. Our opponents started well against us but our defenders and goalkeeper managed to keep them at bay for the first 20 minutes. The team took the game to IFS Blue in the second half but a goal was all we had to show for it as their defense held firm. Good effort guys!
U7 TEAM EXTENDS UNBEATEN STREAK
The U7 team continued its unbeaten streak after emerging victorious against Liverpool and East Football Academy. Tyler, Isaiah, Ichan, Andrei and Lei Ruo all got onto the scoresheet as they continued their fine form this season.

Over at the U9A match, our team took on the English Football School. The team found themselves 2 goals down after 10 minutes but displayed great fighting spirit to come back to within a goal. Alas, it was not to be as they lost the match by a single goal.

U11 ROMPS TO CONVINCING WIN
Our players from U11 got a convincing win against SMSA over the weekend. Nikita, Adharva, Isaac, Leonard, Byeongyun and Raffele all got on the scoresheet in this highly entertaining game, where the lads learned how to adapt as a team in the absence of their team captain.

Meanwhile, the U13 team was humbled by Flair Football Academy after a good start where we scored and took the lead. The opponent then upped the tempo and we ended up trailing at half time. The second half offered no respite as our opponents continued to expose our defense time and again.

Over at the U9B game where we played East Football Academy, our boys were extremely close to a first victory of the season but it was not to be as a last-minute freak own goal ensured that the points were shared.

U11 AND U13 TEAM GO DOWN FIGHTING
Our U11 boys took on SG Lions, who were known for their mean defense that has let in the least number of goals so far. Leonard Lynas made his debut with a bang, getting a brace and announcing himself to the league. We went into half-time 2-3 down but with a self-belief that we could overturn the deficit. It was not to be though as the opponent pulled away in the second half. We may have lost the match but the players learnt a lot from this game, including respect for our opponents, which is part of the values system that we try to inculcate in our players all the time.

Over at the U13 match, our team took on YG2K in a tough game where our boys tried their utmost best to get a result. Tristan was a constant menace down the flank and managed to add 2 goals to his name. It was not sufficient though as we eventually conceded too many goals to sustain a potential comeback.

U9A GETS FIRST WIN OF SEASON
Our players from U9A got their first victory of the season after coming back from 1 goal down against Flair Football Academy. Brothers Aidan and Damian helped the team to a hard-fought victory by getting on the scoresheet. After trailing by a goal at half-time, a quick equaliser at the start of the second half paved the way for the win. Well done team!

Meanwhile, the U7 team continued their unbeaten streak by beating East Football Academy. Andrea helped himself to a hat trick while Zac and Elliot added a goal each. Could they emulate the Invincibles and go unbeaten for the entire season?

U7 TEAM TREATS AUDIENCE TO GOAL FEST
The U7 team treated the spectators to a goal fest on Sunday as they took on Liverpool Football Club. Andrea managed to put 7 goals past the opponent's goalkeeper in a convincing victory, with Lei Ruo also getting on the score sheet as well.

Over at the U9A match, our team took on SG Lions in a game where Finley Cate scored her first goal in this competition. There was no fairy tale ending though as we lost the game by a narrow margin.

U11 TEAM SHOW HUNGER IN WIN
The U11 boys meant business as they took on Liverpool in their latest match. Tiitus scored a hat trick while Raphael added a goal too. Tiitus was also the man-of-the-match with an outstanding performance on the pitch. It was a pity the game had to be called off after half-time due to risk of lightning.

Over at the U9B match, our team took on ESPEZEN Gold in a tight game that could have gone either way. Ihan and Felix both got on the scoring sheet and things could have been very different if we had been more clinical in front of goal. We may have lost the game but there were many positives to take away from this encounter.

Last but not least, our U13 team showed grit and fight despite missing several players through illness and injuries. With only 6 players that were fit and available for their match against ESPZEN Gold, our opponent's coach displayed wonderful sportsmanship by also fielding only 6 players from his side.

Our boys played their hearts out and Adam managed to score a brace but it was not to be as we lost to the better team eventually. The team gave a good account of themselves though despite being short on numbers,
U9A TEAM DISPLAYS RESILIENCE IN DEFEAT
Our players from U9A took on Liverpool in this hard-fought match where the game was tied at 1-1 at one point in time. Luna was our sole goal scorer, with Damian providing the assist. Alas, it was not to be as we lost the game at the final whistle. Finley and Andrea also made their U9 debut at this match and showed that their coaches made the right call to bring them into this team.

It may not the result we were looking for but we know that this team will definitely bounce back and come back stronger for the next match!

U11 ROMP TO A CONVINCING VICTORY
Our U11 boys took on FootballPlus in a largely one-sided game that saw them romp to a convincing victory, bouncing back brilliantly from a defeat from the last match.

Over at the U9 Division 1 game, the U9 boys took on the English Football School. This was a tough one but our boys had good control of the game. However, we were not able to capitalise on the possession and lost the match eventually, despite Ihan Cho getting on the scoresheet twice.

Last but not least, the U13 team played East Football Academy. The boys did well to stay compact defensively, keeping the opponents away from our goal for much of the game. It was a tight game that we could have drawn, but lost in the end as we were not clinical enough as a counter-attacking side. There were lots of positives though from this match and the players can take heart from that.

U9A TEAM SHOW FIGHT IN DEFEAT
Our players from U9A took on the English Football School in a hard-fought game. We lost this keenly contested game eventually but kudos to the team for fighting till the very last minute, despite not having any substitutes on the bench. Luna and Aidan scored a goal each for the team. Well done!

Chins up and we go again the next game boys and girls!

PLAYERS DEMONSTRATE RESILIENCE IN OPENING WEEKEND OF LEAGUE COMPETITION
Our players from U9, U11 and U13 had to show character and demonstrate resilience in a challenging start to the new season of the league competition.

Our U11 boys took on the English Football School in a tight game, which saw lots of end-to-end action. We lost this keenly contested game eventually but kudos to the boys for putting in a good shift, and they definitely deserved more for their valiant efforts.

Over at the U9 Division 1 game, the U9 boys took on Etoile FC Academy. This was by no means an easy game but the boys gave it their all. There was even a mini comeback before half time but alas, it was not to be. Our boys never gave up and played their hearts out till the final whistle.

Last but not least, the U13 team played IFS Blue. The boys did well to push for an equaliser after conceding the first goal. The end result was not what we were looking for but we hold our heads high after this match and we go again for the next fixture.

Here at Real Madrid Foundation Football School, we try to inculcate the values of the football school in each and every one of our players, and to display them, be it in victory or in defeat. Hala madrid!
